Briceol Foods, Beverage and Allied Services is a subcidiary of Briceol Integrated Limited that deals on production, packaging, distribution and sales of foods and beverages to individuals, groups, civic/event centers, cooperatives, event planners/caterers, etc. The said services shall be provided in accordance with proper food handling standards as required by law and established by industry practices and industry accreditations. Our foods and beverages offering will include, but not limited to poundo yam flour, cassava flour (lafu), fufu flour, processed garri (yellow and white), maize flour (tuwo), wheat flour, beans flour, soya beans flour, plantain flour, plantain chips, cashew nuts, cold tiger nut drinks, sobo drinks, fruit juice, cocoa powder, table water, cold wine ETC. Our flours (cassava flour, poundo yam flour, maize flour, etc) are in different sizes such as (1kg, 2kg, 5kg, 10kg).

FUFU FLOUR

Fufu, an essential food in most of West Africa, refers to a dough made from boiled and pounded starchy ground provisions like cassava.

How to make Fufu Flour:

  • 1. Put water in a pot or kettle and set on heat to boil.
  • 2. Then pour the boiled water in a bowl and begin to add the fufu flour and turn the flour with a spatula till it becomes perfect to your taste or till you get a smooth and thick paste.
  • 3. Having achieved this.
  • 4. You can serve with any soup of your choice such as Egusi soup, vegetable soup, Ogbona soup, Okra soup etc.

PLANTAIN FLOUR

Plantain flour is the product of dry pulverized plantain slices. Plantains are a staple food in the tropical regions of the world. It is rich in iron, Ascorbic acid(Vitamin C), carotene and other vitamins. Plantain flour is lower in calories than regular all-purpose flour. Plantain flour has a very good nutritional value when combined with wheat flour especially for diabetic patients.

SOYA BEANS FLOUR

Soya flour is a fine powder obtained from grinding roasted soyabeans. When added to baked goods, soya flour can improve their nutritional value, mainly increasing their protein content, and enhancing texture via lipid oxidation. Soya bean flour is considered as a health food and is used in many food products.

MAIZE (TUWO) FLOUR

Maize flour (Tuwo masara) is a bolus meal indigenous to the northerners (fulanis & Hausas) in Nigeria and other parts of west Africa. It is a good dish and thick pudding prepared from maize that is soft and sticky, and is usually served with different types of soups like Ogbono soup, Egusi soup, Okra soup, Miya kuka, Miya kubewa etc. Maize flour has a very good combination and high value when combined with cassava flour.

Cooking Direction for Maize flour
* Put some water into a small pot and set the boil on medium heat.
* Add the maize flour and stir continuously with spatula until you get a thick and stretchy mix, you can add flour if you want it thicker.
* Now add a little water, cover the pot, reduce the heat to low and leave for 5 to 10 minutes.
* Now mix thoroughly until the Tuwo is smooth. Serve hot and enjoy with any kind of soup of your choice.

WHEAT FLOUR

Wheat flour is a powder made from the grinding of wheat used for human consumption, it contains a large amount of starch and other components like proteins, lipids, etc. Wheat flour has a very good nutritional value when combined with plantain flour especially for diabetic patients.

BEANS FLOUR

Beans have always been in everyone's daily routine and so good that it can also be used to make food available by getting beans flour. Beans flour can be used in making moi-moi, akara, thickening of sauces and gravies or soup etc. It contains antioxidants, protein, potassium, vitamins and minerals.

POUNDO FLOUR

Poundo flour is an extraordinary product made from selected yam tubers. It is gluten-free and it is used in food preparations and popularly eaten in all parts of Nigeria and West Africa.

YAM FLOUR (AMALA)

Yam flour is powdered starch widely used in food preparation. It is commonly used in African dishes, such as amala. It may be used in many other recipes if desired as well. It is prepared by grinding dried yams until they reach a powdered consistency.

CASSAVA FLOUR (LAFU)

Cassava flour, lafu is a good gluten-free alternative to wheat flours. It comes from the dried, ground root of the cassava plant. Cassava flour is very rich in carbohydrates. A cup of cassava flour (285 grams) has about 110 grams of carbohydrates, 5 grams of fiber, and 4.5 grams of sugar. It has a very good combination and high value when combined with maize flour.
